About Waldron, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Waldron is a small Midwestern town with a great deal of charm and history.  This part of Indiana, in general, is a great place to live.  It is full of history, culture and community spirit but it is also very close to urban centers like Indianapolis and Cincinnati.  The seasonal weather means that you can enjoy sun and fun in the summer and build a snowman in the winter.  What can be better than that?

Waldron was originally occupied by the Iroquois. Artifacts such as arrow heads, spears and jewelry have that have been found in the area indicate that other tribes also lived on the land. In 1854, the town (originally named Stroupville) was settled by white people just off of Michigan Road.  Later, that road became the New York Central and Penn Central railroads.  The town has remained small and community oriented over the years. In the summer the town holds lovely fireworks displays and in the cold of the winter all of the locals huddle in the high school gyms to watch their hometown heroes play basketball. This kind of small town lifestyle is what makes this town so special and so unique in modern America.

This section of Indiana is known for its stately brick buildings and lovely tall trees.  There is nothing better than taking a stroll through one of these lovely towns in the spring or summer. Nearby Columbus is perfect for such a day. In a town with less than 50,000 residents, they are seven buildings that are national historical landmarks. You can’t walk a mile without stumbling upon something of cultural or historical value.  If you get tired of walking, the town even offers tours by bus. Be sure to soak up some of that spring and summer weather while exploring the many green spaces of Columbus which were designed by some of the most renowned landscape architects in the world.
