About Edinburgh, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Edinburgh is a charming small town in Indiana. The weather is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, making it an ideal place to enjoy seasonal changes. Conveniently positioned between Indianapolis and Louisville, it is a suburb with a great deal of character and an exceptional amount to do.  There is shopping, dining and culture that is more indicative of a larger city.  Edinburgh was the first settlement in Johnson County, Indiana and is, therefore quite rich in history. It is also not far from Columbus, Indiana which has seven national historic landmarks within its borders.

On a cold winter’s day, when you want to escape the cold and get indoors, you can check out the Edinburgh Outlet Mall for the national chain store products at discount prices.  If you are looking for something a little more unique with a little more atmosphere, you should try shopping at some of the specialty shops downtown. Not a big shopper? Take in a movie or a stage performance at the historic Pixy Theatre. Built in 1907, it was originally used as a Masonic Lodge and has taken on many other roles throughout the years.  It is truly a piece of town history worth checking out.

If you are looking for a warm weather activity, you may want to visit nearby Columbus where you can spend a day walking through town checking out all of their many historic sites. With schools, churches, offices, homes and more all designed by architectural icons like Eero Saarinen and Harry Weese, you can’t walk a mile without stumbling upon something of cultural or historical value. Be sure to soak up the pleasant weather and explore the many green spaces which were designed by some of the most amazing landscape architects in the world.
