About Rushville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Rushville is a city with a great deal small-town charm, but with urban conveniences. Located just 40 miles outside of Indianapolis and 80 miles northwest of Cincinnati, it is just a short drive to anything that you could possibly need.  The town is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and for being the kind of place where everyone knows everybody else. It is currently undergoing a great deal of rejuvenation and is absolutely lovely.  Filled with old stately brick buildings and attractive tree-lines streets, this is the kind of place you want to raise a family.  Seasonal weather makes it ideal for those who love to visit the park (the town has six) in the summer and throwing snowballs in the winter.

In every season and in all weather, the town and its neighboring cities are alive with community spirit and a family friendly atmosphere. Each October, as the weather cools and the leaves begin to fall, nearby Greenfield holds the Riley Festival.  The festival is celebrated to commemorate James Whitcomb Riley, a renowned poet born and raised in the town. Nearby Columbus is always bustling with excitement. There are many fun events to attend year-round. The warm springs and summers in Indiana create the perfect atmosphere for 5K’s, biking, Spring Break Bounce House fun and more. In the winter, the kids (and adults) will have a great time at the indoor gymnastics center or the ice arena which both also offer lessons and classes.

Columbus is not just a great place to run a race or ice skate.  It is one of the most interesting towns in all of Indiana and possibly the Midwest.  In a town with less than 50,000 residents, they have seven buildings that are national historical landmarks. If you visit in the warmer months, be sure to soak up the pleasant weather and explore the many green spaces of Columbus which were designed by some of the best-respected landscape architects in the world.

In the cooler autumn and winter months, take the short drive to Edinburgh to stay warm indoors.  Check out Edinburgh Outlet Mall for the national chain store products at discount prices.  Not a big shopper? You must not miss the opportunity to take in a movie or a stage performance at the historic Pixy Theatre. Built in 1907, it was originally used as a Masonic Lodge and has taken on many other roles throughout the years.  It is truly a piece of local history.
