About Shelbyville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Shelbyville is a quaint Midwestern town with a great deal of charm and character. With a population hovering around 20,000, it is just big enough without being overly busy. Its proximity to the urban centers of Indianapolis and Cincinnati make it convenient to amenities while remaining a quiet place to raise a family. Seasonal weather brings sunshine and flowers in the spring, colorful leaves in the fall and cold, snowy winters.

In town, you will find a wide variety of activities and facilities that make it a great place to live, work and play. Check out the aquatic center in the summer and enjoy a lovely spring day at the annual Easter egg hunt. This part of the world is an ideal area for raising kids or retiring.  It is quiet and family oriented. The town’s neighboring cities are alive with community spirit, as well. Each October, as the weather cools and the leaves begin to fall, nearby Greenfield holds the Riley Festival. The festival is celebrated to commemorate James Whitcomb Riley, a renowned poet born and raised in the town. Nearby Columbus is always bustling with excitement. There are many fun events to attend year-round. The warm springs and summers in Indiana create the perfect atmosphere for 5K’s, biking, Spring Break Bounce House fun and more. In the winter, the kids (and adults) will have a great time at the indoor gymnastics center or the ice arena which both also offer lessons and classes.

If you are a history buff then this part of the world is absolutely a must-see for you. Each town is filled with stately brick buildings, old towering trees and beautiful architecture. In Franklin, you will find the Johnson County History Museum which is filled with local history and is a wonderful museum for such a small town.  You will certainly not want to miss checking out Columbus where you will find seven buildings that are national historical landmarks. They are of great cultural, historical and architectural significance. If you visit in the warmer months, be sure to soak up the pleasant weather and explore the many green spaces of Columbus which were designed by some of the best-respected landscape architects in the world.
